The Super Classic III +s 360 (TAM)
ALTO SAX MOUTHPIECE
(now-features a sterling silver finished table)
SKU :1405-360
Designer and master mouthpiece model maker Gary Sugal, has designed to be released in January 2020 the new Super Classic III +s 360 (TAM) alto mouthpiece .
This model is a versatile alto mouthpiece for today's saxophonist. Ideally suited for all venues as well as contemporary, and straight-ahead jazz.
This is a fined machined metal mouthpiece finished in 18kt Heavy Gold Plate. It's main feature is a sterling silver finished table for players seeking to take advantage of the full dynamic range of the horn.
NOTE:
That the Super Classic III +s 360 (TAM) is designed via a new technologically known as TAM. It is manufactured via steel molds TAM is an advanced molding technique that allows for rapid prototyping process that delivers a fine crisp smooth surface finish, outstanding resonance with very close tolerances.
The Super Classic III +s 360 (TAM) is a little different than the SC II TAM as this III model features a high polish sterling silver finished table that takes full advantage of the dynamic range of the horn.
The Super Classic III + s 360 (TAM) utilizes Sugal’s proprietary copper metal formulation (94% pure copper body) to resonate without sounding gritty or nasal.
Although the technology used to create the mouthpiece is dramatically different than CNC machining, the results are incredible.
The Super Classic III + s 360 (TAM) features our famous parallel refined mini–tracks under the bite plate and inside the chamber- allowing the metal to breathe and expand for spot on intonation and maximum resonation.
It is reminiscent of a Cannonball Gerald Albright sound.
The Super Classic III +s 360 (TAM) has an ease of playability and attains the altissimo register with little effort
Players will find that the overall dynamics and blend of our preparatory natural copper material eliminates that brittle, nasal resonance found in competitive models while at the same time retains very accurate and controlled intonation.
