The Sugal MB II 360 (TAM) is Gary Sugal’s dream come true. The design and manufacturing is based upon today’s technology known as Selective Laser Sintering . Technologically Advanced Methodology (T.A. M.) is built around rapid prototyping that delivers very fine modeling, crisp smooth surface finishes, outstanding resonance and close tolerances.

The The MB II 360 (TAM) metal mouthpiece is ideally suited for today's" contemporary" "rock, blues" style musician seeking to “rip” through competing loud electronics

The MB II 360 (TAM) is a “beefier” brighter projecting tenor mouthpiece. It is crafted with 94% pure copper and designed to resonate with a substantial projection  that eliminates plastic -nasal-kazooish- center core. This mouthpiece produces a huge big sound.

The thing you will notice immediately in the MB360  is that Sugal has “cloned” all of the same attributes as the original MB II Michael Brecker models of the ‘90’s into one power house of a mouthpiece at an affordable price.

A SLS cad designed pattern is embedded into a heated mold, which is then raised to a very high temperature that eventually is burned away leaving an impression of an embedded design in the form of a mouthpiece.

This technology although dramatically different than CNC and lost wax casting results in a very close tolerance smooth surface mouthpiece that can be manufactured less expensively than a CNC mouthpiece and is perfectly suited for the beginner to the most advanced professional saxophonist at unusually competitive pricing.

Sugal now laser enhances the side and tip rails. Also included is a crisp clean laser swept table, allowing for tremendous projection and enhanced articulation. The mouthpiece is as free blowing mouthpiece as any mouthpiece will ever be.

The Sugal “MB II 360 (TAM) is 18 Karat Heavy Gold Electroplated* (see below)  The metal used to produce this mouthpiece is a refined Sugal proprietary formula of metals with a 94% pure copper and a .25% lead content.

The MB II 360 (TAM) of course features Sugal famous parallel re-fined "mini tracks™  "that allows the metal to "breath" or expand for spot on intonation and maximum resonation.

The
MB II 360 (TAM)  mouthpiece has a rich "bright" powerful centered sound with lots of "bite" when called upon. It features a medium to large chamber with a rolled over ‘snow-hill” styled  baffle allowing for a solid full bodied focused "cutting" sound.

Reminiscent of the “Michael Brecker “ "Lenny Picket" sound the MB III360 (T.A.M) has an ease of playability from low Bb right into the altissimo. Players will find that the overall dynamics and "blend" of the Sugal preparatory natural 94% copper formula helps to eliminate brittle, nasal resonance while at the same time focus a  "very accurate" and controlled response.

FEATURES :

18kt (HGE) Heavy Gold Electroplated -14kt, 18kt and 24kt is only a color or shade of gold and should not be confused as to an actual gold content amount. Industry gold plating is measured in the amount  of “mills” that are adhered via the plating process on to the mouthpiece.

The norm or “standard” for gold plated mouthpieces in the industry is 25 mills. While most other makers do not come close to reaching even the minimum “standards” all Sugal gold plated “18kt HGE “ mouthpieces for long life and durability exceed the norm or “standard” .

The MB II 360 (TAM) “cuts through” and “stands out” in just about any venue  .

Huge centered sound with spot on intonation.

Ease of play, articulation is spontaneous.

Body along with the side rails and tip rails and table are laser treated.

Huge easily controlled “popping” sound

A "bright" powerful center allows for lots of "bite", and cut -some say it can peal wallpaper.

Spot on intonation.

Features Sugal’s original rolled over ‘snow-hill” “mini-track” styled baffle

Includes Sugal’s famous “bullet chamber” at the base of the chamber allowing air to spread evenly throughout the body of the mouthpiece.

Parallel “refined parallel “mini-tracks” allow the metal to breath (resonate)

Every mouthpiece is meticulously hand finished and play tested by master artisan G.Sugal prior to leaving the factory.
